Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a patient-centered healthcare model that prioritizes direct relationships between patients and healthcare providers. In this model, individuals pay a membership fee for comprehensive and unhurried access to primary care services. By eliminating the involvement of insurance companies, DPC fosters transparent, personalized, and preventative healthcare, putting the focus back on the individual's well-being. 

Our membership-based model at Eden covers a wide range of services to ensure comprehensive and personalized care for our members. Included services encompass:

1. Regularly Scheduled Primary Care Visits:  Enjoy direct access to primary care services, including routine check-ups and screening, medication refills, referrals when appropriate, and preventive care services. 
2. Functional Medicine Perspective:  Explore the world of Functional Medicine with personalized assessments that delve into the root causes of health issues. 
3. Tele visits from the comfort of your home: While we are limited to online visits currently, this does limit evaluation to conditions that do not require a face-to-face evaluation. 
4. Concierge Medicine: For an added fee, we come to you for initial or wellness visits.
5. Transparent Pricing: We believe you have the right to know what you are paying for.

Unfortunately, because visits are primary care focused with a foundation in functional medicine principals, we are unable to offer unlimited provider visits due to the amount of time we dedicate to each patient visit. However, patients can communicate directly with the provider via the patient portal between visits. Using this form of communication most questions are answered either same day, or within 48 hours during business hours.  For urgent care concerns requiring a face-to-face visit, patients will be directed to either their local urgent care, or emergency department.

Being a tele-medicine practice has some limitations in offering vaccination. Many local pharmacies offer vaccination for TDAP, shingles, pneumonia, and influenza for adults.  For routine childhood or travel vaccination, you will be directed to your local travel vaccination clinic, or health department. These services may be covered under insurance, or at a discounted "cash" rate.
